
To avoid long delays between purchase and shipping, baby spiders will be available when the weather is warmer. The date they go online will be posted here ahead of time and on the pinned post of the Arachnamoria Facebook page.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
As a one-woman business I work hard to pack and get all orders posted within 48hs of the day the orders were placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when I have dropped your parcel off. If there is any delay I will contact you via email to let you know.
Orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class, they aim to deliver these parcels withing 1 to 2 days but it is not guaranteed.
If you need something sooner please feel free to drop me an email to see if I can dispatch sooner and pay the difference for Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm. Please note that once a parcel is with Royal Mail I have no control over their delivery time.

Fruit Fly Orders
Fruit Flies are shipped in the same time frame as stated above. They are sent Royal Mail 24hr tracked and may have shipping delayed due to low temperatures, or industrial action. The postage cost is automatically added at check out
Spider orders
Spiders are sent via Royal Mails Special Delivery by 1pm, this means they should (if Royal Mail doesn't mess up) arrive the next working day by 1pm.
Spiders are not dispatched within the same time frame as other shop orders, instead they are shipped all on one day.
You will receive an email within a few days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) of placing your order with a shipping date. Someone must be at the address to sign for the parcel and unpack the spider. If the arrival date doesn’t work for you, I am happy to amend the shipping address (i.e a work address or family member) or delay shipping the spider until a later date. I am unable to ship a spider earlier than the given date in the email. I can only amend spider orders, or delay delivery at your request up to the day before the shipping date.
Anything ordered at the same time as your spider will arrive in the same parcel.
Spider dispatch may be delayed at any time if there is a risk to your spiders safety on their journey. This could be due to factors such as the spider showing moult behaviour, weather temperatures (high and low) or industrial action. I will email updates as soon as possible to let you know and keep you updated. You can also check the website header for important updates regarding shipping.
I want you to be happy with your purchase, but I understand that plans can change. For non-defective items, returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the items are in their original condition; please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please be aware that all gift card purchases, and items bought using a gift card, are final sale and cannot be returned. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please email me immediately so we can discuss a solution, such as a replacement or a refund.

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
At Arachnamoria, I take the health and well-being of my jumping spiders very seriously. I understand that welcoming a new eight-legged friend into your home is an exciting experience, and that the idea of them travelling to you through the post seems a little daunting. In reality is a very safe, and unfortunate fatalities are very rare.
To give you peace of mind, every spider I ship is packed with care, the temperatures are monitored and the spider is covered by my Live Arrival Guarantee.
How the Guarantee Works
If your spider does not arrive alive, I will provide a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund for the cost of the spider. To qualify for this guarantee, please ensure the following conditions are met:

First Delivery Attempt: Someone must be present to accept the package on the very first delivery attempt. Missed deliveries or spiders parcels left at doors (even in communal areas) are not covered.

Immediate Unpacking: You must unpack and inspect your spider immediately upon the carrier's delivery.

Prompt Reporting: If there is an issue, you must contact me via within 1 hour of the carrier's recorded delivery time.

Proof of Condition: Please include a clear photo or short video of the deceased spider.
