Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any spiders available?
If the spider tab of the online shop says out of stock then there are either none ready or I have sold out. Unfortunately my spiders often sell out fast.
When will the next batch be ready?
I rehome the spiders after their 4th moult (5th Instar) but spiders moult in their own time, and even babies from the same sac will moult at different times. For this reason it can be hard to give a date or even week until they are much older. I will always post updates to the home page and breeding page on the website, the spider tab on the online shop on the website, and the pinned post on Facebook.
Do you have a waitlist or can I reserve a baby spider?
I am afraid I cannot offer a waitlist or reservations as I don’t know how many will be ready and when. Contacting prospective keepers one by one to show them available babies is time consuming, and unfair to individuals on the bottom of the list.
Spiders are only sold online when they are ready and is first come first serve.
If you want to buy an available baby from the website but would like to delay shipping, I am more than happy to hold onto the little one for you.
I cannot hold babies without payment.
Do you sell sub-adult or older spiders?
No, I'm afraid I get too attached to my older spiders, they stay here with me.
How do I purchase a jumping spider?
When babies are available they will have their photos taken and will be listed individually under the spider tab of the online shop. The spider in the photo is the spider you will receive.
Add the spider to your basket, along with any accessories or equipment, and proceed to checkout.
Your order and your spider with be packed/shipped in the same box.
Do you have more photos of the spiders I’m considering?
Photographing an 8mm spider is a tricky business. Not only do I need a good macro lens, and a vast number of lights, and the subject to stay still and face the right way, but I also want to avoid stressing out the spider as much as possible. For this reason, I only photograph their adorable face and their abdominal markings.
I'd like to know more about the spider I'm considering such as size/instar, home requirements, and what to feed them.
Check out the bio on each individual spiders listing to find out about them. If you see the sold out icon you can still read the bio about the babies coming up.
I would really like a white or Bahamas spider, do you have some available?
Photos of the current breeding pairs and their locale (such as Bahamas, Florida, Soroa and so on) can be found on the breeding page of the website.
White phases jumping spiders are rare, and while white pairs have a higher chance of producing fluffy white babies they can also produce fawn, brown, orange and peach females, plus silver males who will eventually turn black.
As jumping spiders, especially females, will change their colours during a moult it is not easy to predict which spiders will go white.
Where can you ship to, and how do I receive my spider/order?
Please check the delivery info in the footer.

I’m looking to get my first spider, where do I start?
Head to the care sheet tab on the website as your first stop, then the care blogs. You can also find a wealth of information in the Arachnamoria book available in the online shop and on Amazon.
